Marian MacIndoe

Marian Macindoe has extensive experience in the field of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) stewardship. Marian currently holds the position of Head of ESG Stewardship at Parnassus Investments since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of ESG Strategy & Engagement at Uber from April 2020 to April 2022. Marian was also the Director of Investment Stewardship at Charles Schwab Investment Management from May 2018 to April 2020. Before that, they held various roles at Chevron Corporation, including ESG Advisor, Global Issues and Policy from June 2013 to May 2018, and Corporate Governance Analyst from October 2011 to June 2013. Marian started their career at Glass, Lewis & Co. where they worked as a Director of Environmental, Social & Governance Research from December 2008 to June 2011, Director of UK & Canada Proxy Research from December 2007 to December 2008, and Senior Proxy Research Analyst from January 2005 to December 2007.

Marian Macindoe obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International and Comparative Policy Studies (Economics) from Reed College between 1998 and 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Regional and Urban Planning at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2003 to 2004.
