Michael Beck, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment research and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Research Analyst at Parnassus Investments since June 2021, Michael previously held the position of Research Analyst at the same firm for a brief period in 2020. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Portfolio Manager and Trader/Analyst at Opes Wealth Management from May 2017 to May 2020, and as a Portfolio Analyst at BNY Mellon Wealth Management from June 2016 to May 2017. Earlier in their career, Michael was an Engineer at Baker Hughes from August 2013 to April 2016. Michael holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
