Rodrigo Argüello

Rodrigo Argüello is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the head of the Cybersecurity department at Fundación Parque Tecnológico de Itaipu Paraguay since March 2011, Rodrigo has contributed significantly to the management committee for the upgrade of the Datacenter based on the TIA 942 standard. Previously, at Anglo English from August 2000 to January 2020, Rodrigo was responsible for the IT department, bridging communication between management and technical specialists, leading projects related to business processes and ERP implementation, and gaining expertise as a DBA on MS-SQL. Additionally, Rodrigo worked as a professor at Universidad Nacional de Canindeyu from March 2015 to July 2017, teaching courses in Information Technology Security and Project Development. Rodrigo holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Strategic Planning and National Security with a focus on Cybersecurity, and certifications in ISO/IEC standards and ITIL.
