Darren Adam

Darren Adam is a chartered accountant who is currently Finance Director at the NRMA and has a Bachelor of Commerce and a LLM (Taxation Law). Prior to joining NRMA he was at Foxtel for 5 years as in senior leadership roles in the Finance and Product & Strategy divisions. He was appointed to the Board on 5 March 2020 and is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Property & Development Committee.

Darren began his career with local chartered accounting firm McLean Charge Partners, before moving to Coopers & Lybrand in 1994. He subsequently held senior taxation and strategy roles at Telstra before joining Optus, where he worked in several executive roles, leading finance and operational teams in some of its largest trading divisions. In these roles, he has been responsible for financial performance, procurement, investment evaluation, pricing as well as governance and risk management, and has led several large transformation initiatives.

Darren has lived in the Hills area for over 30 years and has been a Member of Parramatta Leagues Club for over 28 years. He is a lifelong Parramatta Eels supporter, along with his wife and 2 teenage children.
