Greg Monaghan

President at Parramatta Leagues Club

Greg Monaghan is the President of the Board. He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree, Graduate Diploma of Marketing and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the highest level, reflecting his extensive experience as a Director, including;

Professional sports (9 years CricketNSW), and amateur sports via Parramatta Cricket and Kings Langley Cricket Club. He is a Life Member of NSW, Parramatta and Kings Langley.

Listed (ASX 300 company Customers Limited (Chair), in the

Finance industry including Bankcard Australia (Chair) Visa Australia and Mastercard NCG, Securepay and numerous other smaller companies.

He was first a member of Parra Leagues in the late 1970s and is now a Perpetual Member. He has been supporter of the Parramatta Eels for 50 years. His all-time favourite footy memory is Brett Kenny’s dummy in the 1981 Grand Final.

Greg chairs the Parra Leagues Board, and the Property and Development Committee and is an ex officio member of all Board Committees. He is proud of successfully steering the Club through the difficult COVID environment and driving the development of a new vision for the future.

He was born and bred in the Parramatta area, played league and cricket at Cumberland High School, and Premier 1st Grade cricket for Parramatta District Cricket Club and has been President of that club for 15 years.

Greg is passionate about leading Parramatta Leagues Club and supporting the Parramatta Eels to a consistently successful future.
