Phil Sim

Director at Parramatta Leagues Club

Phil Sim has 20 years of experience as a Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

His professional expertise encompasses business strategy and management, technology, data, media, marketing and communications.

Phil has been a member of the Parramatta Leagues Club for more than a decade, and as a current board member is chair of the Community Committee and he is also a member of the Audit, Risk and Strategic Planning committees.

He has been heavily involved with the Parramatta Eels Rugby League community. Prior to his appointment to the board, he was a coach/trainer within the Parramatta Junior League and was the founder of the 1Eyed Eel supporter site where he championed the Club’s recent constitutional reforms. Phil resigned from these activities to remove the potential for conflict of interest, but remains an ardent supporter of both the Eels and district junior Rugby League.

Phil is currently the CEO of Influencing, a multi-national media and technology company he founded and has managed for the past 20 years. He was previously an award-winning journalist, editor and publisher, twice being a Young Australian of the Year finalist for Career Achievement.
