Michelle Vermette

Michelle Vermette has extensive work experience in the accounting and financial reporting field. Michelle began their career in 2000 as a Senior Accountant at KPMG and worked there until 2003. From 2003 to 2007, they held the position of Manager, External Financial Reporting/Internal Auditor at Viterra. In 2007, they joined MTS Allstream as a Manager of Financial Reporting and held that role until 2015. Upon leaving MTS Allstream, Michelle joined Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited, where they have held various roles, including Controller for Western Canada, Corporate Controller for the Grain division, and currently serves as the Director of Accounting Operations for the Grain division.

Michelle Vermette attended the University of Manitoba from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Accounting. After that, from 2000 to 2003, they studied at the CA School of Business and obtained a Chartered Accountant designation with a focus on Accounting.
