David Villarreal

David Villarreal has worked in the software industry since 2010. David began as a Co-Founder at Bloq Software, then worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Foursquare and Palantir Technologies. In 2011, they created a few projects for fun at Peagames, then they joined Uber in 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2018, they became the Co-Founder of Uva Scooters and the VP Engineering at Grow Mobility (Grin Scooters). Most recently, in 2020, they became the Co-Founder of Parrot Software.

David Villarreal attended the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics.
