Oscar Chavarria

Oscar Chavarria has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Oscar most recently worked at Parser as the Engineering and Service Delivery Director, where they focused on business growth, team management, and product development. Prior to that, they held the position of Business Growth & Operations Lead at MagnifAI. Oscar also worked at Globant as a Sr Project Manager and Project Manager, overseeing project delivery and customer relationships. Oscar has also worked as a Professor at Universidad ICESI and Crecer, teaching IT-related subjects. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Mattel, VQ Ingeniería SAS - ECOPETROL S.A., CAM Colombia, Ministry of ICT - Computadores para Educar, and Primestone, where they gained experience in project management, vendor management, team leadership, and software development. Overall, Oscar has a strong background in IT, project management, and agile methodologies.

Oscar Chavarria has a diverse education history. In 2002 to 2007, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia. Oscar later pursued postgraduate studies in Engineering at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas from 2011 to 2012 and at Universidad Autónoma de Colombia from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Chavarria acquired certifications such as ITIL Foundations V2011 from Axelos - PeopleCert in 2015 and Scrum Master from SCRUMStudy in 2017. Oscar also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Most recently, they acquired additional certifications in Management 3.0 Fundamentals from Management 3.0 and SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
