Julie Sereno Ramos

Mobile Crisis Social Worker at Parsons Child & Family Center

Julie Sereno Ramos has extensive experience in social work and management within various organizations focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Currently serving as a Mobile Crisis Social Worker with Parsons Child and Family Center since November 2013, Julie provides vital relief support for the Capitol Region's child and adolescent mobile crisis team. Previously, Julie held the position of Director at Vanderheyden Hall from April 2010 to June 2017, overseeing multiple residences and a day habilitation program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Further roles include managing programs at the Homeless Action Committee and Occupations, Inc., as well as coordinating recreational activities for adults with developmental disabilities at HeartShare Human Services. Julie's educational background includes a Master of Social Work degree from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the City University of New York - Staten Island.
