Mary Catherine, born and raised in Savannah, GA, joined the Parsons Group team in November 2018. After graduating with a degree in Accounting from The University of Alabama in 2008, she began her accounting career in the Oil, Gas, & Chemical industry. While in her first role as an accountant she began to pursue her Masters of Accountancy at Georgia Southern University, which she was able to complete by the Spring of 2010. Since then, Mary Catherine’s development in her field led to roles outside of the Southeast, and most recently in Santa Barbara. She was instantly attracted to the work at Parsons Group, as she and her family cared for her beloved grandfather for 20+ years until the age of 101. Mary Catherine and her newlywed husband Michael have a passion for college football, live music, travel, cooking, and visiting family and friends in their home state of Georgia.
