Eleanor Jennings, PhD, is a highly experienced professional specializing in microbiology and biogeochemistry, currently serving as a Fellow and Project Principal Environmental Scientist at Parsons Corporation since April 2017. Additionally, Eleanor holds the position of U.S. Science Advisor at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) since February 2014. Past roles include Senior Subject Matter Expert at the American Petroleum Institute, National Chair Person and Board Member of the American Society for Microbiology, and Principal Microbiologist at Total Environmental Concepts, Inc. Eleanor's expertise spans bioremediation and industrial microbiology across multiple continents, with a focus on utilizing forensic biogeochemistry and innovative remediation technologies. Eleanor holds a Ph.D. in Soil Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma and advanced degrees in Microbiology and Biology from The University of Tulsa.
