Rohit Tharakan, CEng MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in rail systems and project management. Currently serving as Technical Director - Rail Systems at Parsons Corporation since January 2023, Rohit oversees rail systems discipline and resource management in the UAE while leading strategic rail pursuits. Previous roles include Interface & Integration Manager for the Dubai Metro Blue Line and Senior Project Manager across various critical projects, such as the RTA Dubai Metro Traction Power Project. Rohit has also held senior positions at Ricardo plc and was a Principal Project Engineer at Parsons Corporation, contributing to significant rail and transit initiatives in North America and the Middle East.
