Brian Wasserman

Brian Wasserman has extensive work experience in the software and technology industry. Brian is currently the VP and Head of Brink Engineering for North America at PAR Technology, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Director and Head of Engineering at PAR Technology from September 2019 to March 2022.

Before joining PAR Technology, Brian worked at Cubic Transportation Systems. Brian served as the Director of Architecture from April 2018 to September 2019, where they built and managed a team of software architects. Brian also held various roles at Cubic Transportation Systems, including Principal Architect and Lead for Mobile Solutions and Director of System Engineering and Architecture.

Prior to Cubic Transportation Systems, Brian worked at The Active Network as the Senior Manager of Software Architecture and Development from August 2011 to February 2014. Brian was responsible for leading the Application Architecture team for the ActiveWorks platform and managing development projects.

Brian also has experience working at NCR as an Architect/Technical Lead, Teradata as a Project Lead/Architect, and MCTSSA as a Software Engineer.

Brian Wasserman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, which they pursued from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Electronic Commerce from National University, which they completed between 1999 and 2000.
