Luke Dennison is an experienced community engagement professional with a strong background in social action and project coordination. Currently serving as the Business Engagement Lead at Participate Projects since July 2018, Luke facilitates the transformation of ideas into sustainable social ventures while promoting volunteering opportunities for businesses. As Director at Grand Old Duke of Sauce, Luke oversees operations that support youth enterprise skill development through the sale of chilli sauce. Previous roles include Project Lead at Street Life Speaks Out, where Luke managed a variety of community services, and various positions at Street Life, including Volunteer Coordinator and Peer Mentor Coordinator. Participate Projects

We offer a wide range of services that support and connect businesses, social ventures, charities and communities. Business volunteering: At Participate we work with some of the largest companies in the UK to develop and deliver their corporate volunteering. We work with individuals and teams and are unique, providing a bespoke service that meets the needs of the volunteering organisation whilst maximising the impact for the community organisations we support. Social Venture School: Participate provides a comprehensive range of support to help people start and grow Social Ventures. To join our programme you must have an idea that with the primary purpose of tackling a social or environmental issue. Our Impact: In 2018 we have accumulated over 23,000 volunteering hours. From our expert, supportive mentors to the wonderfully hardworking teams of business volunteers through Team Challenges Since we started Social Venture school we have started over 90 new Social Ventures, this includes training 22 Mentors. Over 400 organisations have been supported from Charities to Community Organisations and fundraising over £1,000,000.
