Benjamin Johnson began their career in 2010 as Chief Technology Officer at Investing Channel. During their time there, they worked with the tech team to optimize the core ad technology, resulting in a 70% reduction in cost and a 10x increase in performance. Benjamin then joined BookShout as Director of Operations (Dev Ops) in 2013, where they created a comprehensive chef project for Rackspace and Google Compute Cloud and deployed office infrastructure for over 50 people after an office move. In the same year, they also served as Technology Advisor for Arrivalist and Chief Technology Officer at Savoya. In 2014, they worked as Development Operations Manager at IntelliCentrics and simultaneously founded and served as CEO of Particle41. In 2015, they became Chief Technology Officer & CoFounder of Legalinc Corporate Services Inc. and in 2018, they were promoted to Director of Software Engineering at LegalZoom. Finally, in 2022, they joined DockWorks as Chief Technology Officer.
Benjamin Johnson attended Grace University from 1995 to 1996. Benjamin then attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1995 to 1998. Finally, they attended the Colorado School of Mines from 1998 to 2001, studying Computer Science.
