José Antonio Monago Terraza

José Antonio Monago Terraza currently serves as Presidente del Comité Nacional de Derechos y Garantías del Partido Popular, responsible for overseeing the party's compliance program. Since July 2019, José Antonio has been a Senator, holding the position of Adjunct Spokesperson for the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Senate. A public servant since January 1987, José Antonio has also served as an Autonomous Deputy in Extremadura and held the presidency in the Junta de Extremadura from July 2011 to June 2015. In addition to political roles, José Antonio has contributed to academia, teaching in programs focused on public leadership and safety. Recent educational pursuits include technical courses in cybersecurity and advanced legal studies.
