Joe de Rutte

Joe de Rutte has diverse work experience in the field of bioscience and research. Joe co-founded and currently serves as the CEO of Partillion Bioscience since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Di Carlo Lab, UCLA from August 2016 to September 2020. Joe also worked as a Graduate Student at UC Santa Barbara from October 2014 to June 2016. Additionally, Joe spent some time as a Visiting Graduate Student Researcher at The University of Tokyo in June 2015.

Joe de Rutte completed their education in a chronological manner. Joe attended Cardinal Newman High School from 2006 to 2010. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at UC Santa Barbara from 2010 to 2014. Following their bachelor's degree, Joe obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, which they pursued from 2014 to 2016. Lastly, Joe completed their academic journey with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering from UCLA, where they studied from 2016 to 2020.
