Tim Grunshaw

Tim Grunshaw has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Tim is the current Director of Engineering at Partly since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Flock Angel (Scout) at Blackbird starting in October 2021. From 2015 to 2022, Tim held various positions at Microsoft, including Engineering Manager responsible for processing and analyzing financial data, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer II. Before joining Microsoft, Tim was a Co-Founder and Software Engineer at TradeIntel from 2011 to 2014, where they helped professional sellers on Trade Me identify market gaps.

Tim Grunshaw attended Nelson College from 2004 to 2008, where they completed their high school education. Tim then went on to study at the University of Canterbury from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics. In 2014, Tim briefly attended Victoria University of Wellington and pursued studies in Computer Science for a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
