Douglas James

Douglas James is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on systems administration, information security, and cloud engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Partner.Co since May 2006, Douglas manages and maintains AWS web infrastructure and has successfully migrated the company's entire web environment to AWS using CloudFormation templates. Previous positions include Information Security Engineer at Morinda, Inc., where Douglas developed and enforced information security policies, and Systems Administrator at both I-Net Innovations and Linford Bros. Windows, where responsibilities encompassed server maintenance and network infrastructure deployment. Douglas's career began in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Rifleman from 1985 to 1993. Douglas holds a Master of Arts in English with a Teaching Emphasis from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Utah.
