Jason Matchett

Jason Matchett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jason started their career as a Quartermaster in the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served from 1991 to 1995. In this role, they gained skills in maritime navigation, rescue swimming, firefighting, and maritime law enforcement.

After leaving the Coast Guard, Jason transitioned into the education sector and worked as a 6th Grade Teacher/Technology Specialist at Fairfax County Public Schools from 1999 to 2001. During this time, they focused on integrating technology into the classroom and supporting students' educational needs.

In 2001, Jason joined OASAS Learning Solutions as a Project Coordinator, where they coordinated various projects and ensured their successful completion. Jason then moved on to Access Systems, Inc as a Program Manager and eventually became the Manager of IT. Jason worked at Access Systems from 2003 to 2007, gaining experience in IT management and overseeing various IT projects.

In 2007, Jason joined NetCentrics Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineer. Jason was responsible for maintaining headquarters and client enterprise network environments and designing and managing complete infrastructures. Jason worked at NetCentrics until 2009.

From 2009 to 2015, Jason held leadership positions in IT service and consulting companies. Jason served as the Chief Solutions Officer and CEO at Partnerd Group, LLC, where they specialized in providing IT services to small and medium-sized businesses. Jason then became a partner and the Chief Tactical Officer at Stage Shift IT, where they planned and executed IT strategies for fast-growing and start-up entrepreneurial organizations.

Jason Matchett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from PennWest Clarion, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they pursued Architecture and Related Services at Kent State University for the academic year of 1989-1990.
