Edward Swerhone

Edward Swerhone has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. Edward currently works at PartnerRe as the Vice President of Business Development since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Sun Life Financial for a total of 15 years from 2002 to 2017. In Sun Life Financial, they held various roles including Vice-President of Corporate Actuarial, Vice-President of Capital Management, and Vice-President of Actuarial Consulting Group. Edward also worked at Sun Life Financial of Canada as an Assistant Vice-President of Retail Pricing from 2001 to 2002, and at Manulife Financial as a Pricing Actuary from 1990 to 1993. Edward started their career at Crown Life as an Actuary and worked there from 1985 to 1990.

Edward Swerhone attended the University of Manitoba from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Actuarial Science.
