Ehren Nagel

Ehren Nagel, FSA, MAAA has a broad range of experience in the actuarial field. Ehren began their career at Lincoln Financial Group in 2007 as an Actuarial Analyst, where they were responsible for policy extracts and implemented improvements to the quarter-end process. Ehren then advanced to the role of Sr. Actuarial Analyst, collaborating on pricing and implementation support for various life insurance products.

In 2011, Nagel was promoted to Associate Actuary, where they designed models, conducted earnings analysis, and facilitated new product modeling. Ehren also generated audit reports for external auditors.

Continuing their career at Lincoln Financial Group, Nagel became a Sr. Consultant in 2013, leading projects related to mortality risk and reinsurance effectiveness. Ehren also worked closely with business units to identify process gaps and develop recommendations for improvement.

From 2014 to 2019, Nagel held several leadership positions at Lincoln Financial Group, including Actuary, Life Product Team Lead, and Assistant Vice President in various areas such as term business, advanced analytics, and life pricing. In 2019, Nagel joined Legal & General America as a Sr. Actuary in product development, where they played a key role in product performance and development. Ehren was later promoted to the position of Head of Product Performance, responsible for overseeing the performance of the company's product portfolio.

In 2022, Nagel joined PartnerRe as a Consulting Actuary and assumed the role of Head of Actuarial Innovation in 2023. In this position, they are responsible for leading actuarial innovation initiatives within the company.
