Jethro de Decker

Jethro De Decker is a highly experienced actuary currently serving as a Senior Pricing Actuary at PartnerRe, where responsibilities include setting global pricing methodologies and maintaining pricing capital models within the Life & Health business. Prior to this role, Jethro held various significant positions, including AVP of Asia Product Strategy at MetLife, where Jethro developed product propositions and optimized governance processes. Jethro also worked as Head of Strategy & Planning for APAC & EMEA Insurance at Citi, contributing to business planning in the bancassurance sector. Earlier experience includes product development at Old Mutual South Africa and consulting at Milliman, alongside positions in private equity and actuarial analysis starting in 2005. Jethro is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries and holds an Honors degree in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Cape Town. In addition to professional achievements, Jethro is an accomplished athlete with notable performances in ultramarathons.
