Laurent Berthier

Laurent Berthier is a seasoned professional in underwriting insurance and reinsurance, with a strong focus on technical risks, energy, and industrial accounts. Currently a Senior Underwriter at PartnerRe since September 2010, Laurent has been instrumental in the development of underwriting and portfolio management for major international accounts, specializing in mining, conventional power, renewables, and property. Previous roles include Senior Underwriter at Paris Re and AXA Re, where Laurent managed underwriting guidelines and communicated technical expertise across global offices. Laurent’s early career included project management positions at SYSTRA and military service as an Officer Cadet in the Marine Nationale.
