Peter Antal

Peter Antal serves as the Group Chief Risk Officer and Head of Capital & Risk at PartnerRe since November 2016, overseeing global Risk Management and Capital Allocation. Previously, Peter Antal held multiple positions at Swiss Re from April 1995 to October 2016, including Head of Risk Modeling, where responsibility included the Economic Capital Model for the Swiss Solvency Test and Solvency II, and Head of Product Strategy, focusing on Portfolio Optimization and Profitability Analysis. Peter Antal also was the Chief Actuary for Financial Services, managing Pricing and Reserving, and began as a Senior Actuary. Academic credentials include a PhD in Mathematics from ETH Zürich, a Postdoctoral Associate in Probability Theory from Cornell University, as well as designations as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute and Aktuar SAV from the Swiss Association of Actuaries.
