Alex Hothan

Alex Hothan has over 10 years of work experience in the architecture industry. They most recently worked as a Project Director at Partners by Design starting in December 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Olivieri Brothers, Architects as a Director of Architecture from 2011 to 2017, and as a Project Designer from 2011 to 2017. Alex also has experience as a Building Code Plan Reviewer at Accurate Review from 2016 to 2017. Before that, they worked as a Project Designer at Architectural Resource from 2009 to 2011. Alex began their career as an Architectural Intern at Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture in 2008, at Passive House Institute US (PHIUS) from 2007 to 2008, and at Aspen Group in 2007. At Aspen Group, their responsibilities included assisting all phases of the architectural and construction process.

From 2002 to 2008, Alex Hothan attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they pursued a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree. Their field of study during this period was Architecture.
