Director Of Community School Supports at Partners for Rural Impact

Amani Moore has extensive work experience in the field of community school supports and social work. They currently hold the position of Director of Community School Supports at Partners for Rural Impact. Prior to this, Amani worked as the Program Director of Community Schools &OST at The Family League of Baltimore. They also served as a Consultant at Akoben, LLC. A significant part of Amani's career was spent at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where they held roles such as Community Schools Coordinator and Community School Director at Promise Heights. They also worked as a Coordinator at The Young Women's Project and as a School Counselor at DC Prep. Amani's experience also includes internships and program facilitator positions at organizations such as the University of Chicago Charter School Woodlawn Campus and Woodlawn Children's Promise Community.

Amani Moore holds a Master's degree in Social Service Administration and Community School leadership from the University of Chicago, which was obtained between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, Amani earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Spelman College, studying from 2003 to 2007. Amani also participated in a cohort program at Mills College in 2005, specifically in the Institute for Civic Leadership. In addition to their degrees, Amani obtained a certification as a Licensed Master Social Worker from the Maryland Board of Social Worker Examiners in October 2013.
