Dr. Shanda C. Crowder has 20 years of experience in education and human services. Dr. Shanda C. currently serves as the Vice President of Capacity and Implementation at Partners for Rural Impact since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Consultant at Promised Season LLC from 2020 to present. From 2018 to 2022, Dr. Crowder worked as a Senior Associate in the Leadership Development Unit at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Dr. Shanda C. also held positions as the Senior Director of Collaboration at the Family League of Baltimore from 2017 to 2018, Director & Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Social Work from 2015 to 2017, and Chief of Staff, Social Services Administration at the Maryland Department of Human Resources from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Shanda C. Crowder earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from North Carolina Central University in 2001. Dr. Shanda C. later pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in School Psychology from Howard University, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Dr. Crowder completed their education journey by earning a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Urban Educational Leadership from Morgan State University, which they attended from 2005 to 2013.
