Partners for Rural Impact
Tammy Clemons, PhD, is an accomplished Independent Teaching Artist currently engaged with Partners for Rural Impact, effective December 2023. Clemons has a rich background in arts education and community scholarship, having previously served as a Community Scholar Advisor and Facilitator for the Kentucky Folklife Program, as well as an Independent Teaching Artist with Partners for Education at Berea College. Academic contributions include adjunct lecturer roles at Berea College, teaching various undergraduate courses, and experience as an Independent Media Arts Consultant for KET. Clemons holds a PhD and MA in Cultural Anthropology, along with a Graduate Certificate in Gender & Women's Studies from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, and a BA in Women's Studies and Spanish from Berea College.
