Jean Pierre Dufitumukiza

Jean Pierre Dufitumukiza is an experienced social worker currently serving as the Oncology Social Worker Coordinator at Partners In Health since July 2020. This role involves planning and coordinating support for oncology patients, facilitating communication between clinical teams and stakeholders, and managing social support services. Prior to this, Jean Pierre worked at the National Commission for Children in Rwanda, focusing on child protection and family-based care, where significant achievements included the placement of 149 children from orphanages into families. Other roles include training positions at Rwanda Men's Resource Centre and Hope and Homes for Children, as well as positions in data collection related to child protection with various organizations. Jean Pierre holds a master's degree in Development Studies from Mount Kenya University and a bachelor's degree in Social Work from UTAB.
