Carmen Wood

Carmen is the Associate Director of Employee & Labor Relations at Mansfield University and has worked there for the past 27 years. She and her husband Russell have two children and two grandchildren that they enjoy spending time with as often as they can. Carmen serves on a few boards including PIP, Jones Foundation, and Bloss Area Swimming Association.

She felt honored when she was asked to serve on the PIP Board in 2017. She has very much enjoyed serving on this board as she is continually learning about the many facets of the corporation. It’s very evident to her that the dedicated leaders and staff work collectively under the mission to “empower Individuals with disabilities to succeed.” Carmen is delighted to be involved in community partnership opportunities with MU & PIP and looks forward to seeing the many benefits of this continuing relationship.
