Kate Dron

Kate Dron is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for The Hunger Project and Chief & Appointed Actuary at Partners Life, Kate previously led the Actuarial, Reinsurance, Pricing, and Investments teams at Suncorp New Zealand. Other notable positions include Head of Actuarial New Zealand at Suncorp Group, Consulting Actuary at Davies Financial & Actuarial, GM of Pricing & Business Partnership at Sovereign, and Head of Risk for Wealth & Private Banking at ANZ. Kate's career in risk management and actuarial science began at Asteron and Tower Health & Life. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Auckland and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
