Cathy Chapman

Cathy Chapman is an experienced social worker with a robust background in family and children's services. Currently serving as a Caseworker in Resource Development at the Georgia Division of Family and Children's Services since September 2015, Cathy also contributes as a Shelter Advocate for the Partnership Against Domestic Violence since May 2014. Previously, Cathy worked as a Foster Care Caseworker at Bethany Christian Services, advocating for the well-being of foster children. Additionally, Cathy has interned at the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy focusing on Family Forensic Interviews and served as an Advocate Intern at the Partnership Against Domestic Violence. As a graduate student at Kennesaw State University, Cathy maintains a 3.9 GPA in the Master's Degree program in Social Work, building on a foundation of a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University.
