Charrita Danley Quimby

Charrita Danley Quimby, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Institutional Partnerships at the Partnership for Education Advancement, a position held since September 2022. Previously, Quimby spent 15 years at Hampton University, where responsibilities included serving as Vice President & Chief of Staff, leading the marketing and communications for the Office of the President, and instructing graduate and undergraduate courses in the College of Education and Continuing Studies. Quimby's career also includes roles as Education Specialist at the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, Administrative Specialist for the Georgia Department of Education, and teacher positions at Marietta City Schools and Greenville Public Schools. Quimby holds a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Georgia State University, a Master of Arts from Louisiana State University, a Bachelor of Arts from Tougaloo College, and a certificate in Strategic Communication Management from Purdue University.
