Shaun Lawrie is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in performance engineering and platform reliability. Currently serving as Platform Engineering Lead and previously as Site Reliability Manager at PartsTrader Markets Limited since February 2015, Shaun also holds a role as Performance Engineer at Breakpoint. Notably, while working at Trade Me from October 2020 to March 2022, Shaun contributed to the successful migration to Google Cloud Platform by developing a performance regression suite and a load-generating framework. Earlier experience includes roles as Test Engineer and Junior Test Automation Engineer at Qual IT from March 2013 to January 2015. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Performance, both from the University of Otago.
