Mike Thone

Mike Thone has over 13 years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as Lead Product Designer for PartySlate. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as Interaction Designer (Ux/Ui) for ITX Corp. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as Manager, User Experience for Rise Interactive, where they fostered a user-centered design culture, managed design resources for Innovation Team, led UX design process, and worked remotely full time from Nov 2016-June 2018. In 2018, they also took on the role of Interim Product Manager. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as Web Designer / Developer for MikeThoneWeb and as UI UX Designer / Front end developer for ShopLocal. From 2008 to 2010, they were Art Director for Corporate Identification Solutions. In 2007, they worked as Public Painting Demonstrator for The Art Institute of Chicago and Production Manager for Signs Now Chicago, where they created display signage, installed vinyl graphics, and plotted/weeded vinyl graphics.

Mike Thone received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007, after studying Fine Arts there from 2005 to 2007. Mike also attended the Slade School of Fine Art in 2006, where they studied Fine Arts. From 2003 to 2005, Mike attended Pratt @ Munson Williams Proctor, where they studied Fine Arts. In addition, Mike has obtained three certifications: Design for the 21st Century with Don Norman from The Interaction Design Foundation in November 2021, Google AdWords Certified in July 2017, and Google AdWords Certified in February 2016.
