We unite the voices of Africa’s sanitation enterprises

Africa’s sanitation enterprises play a crucial role in safeguarding public health and the environment, yet they often operate in the shadows, facing challenges like discrimination, unsafe conditions, and financial instability. The Pan-African Sanitation Association (PASA) aims to professionalize the private sector by unifying national associations across the continent. This collaborative platform strengthens these groups, champions their recognition, and engages with public authorities to deliver sustainable sanitation services. Through technical assistance, knowledge exchange, and policy advocacy, PASA seeks to elevate the profile of sanitation work in Africa, ensuring the private sector is formalized and acknowledged as essential for achieving safely managed sanitation for all.
