Chris Downie has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. Chris founded Pasabi in 2014 and served as CTO at Blonde from 2006 to 2010, where they provided strategic technical direction, managed the development team, and worked on solutions for clients. Prior to that, they worked as a VLE Developer at the University of Edinburgh, where they developed a study guide authoring system and architect the new .Net platform for the VLE. Chris also worked at Realise Ltd for 5 years, starting as a Technical Developer and eventually becoming the Technical Manager, where they established the technical strategy and hired technical resources. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Mobile Development Manager at Rank Digital, and from 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Project Manager at Skyscanner.
Chris Downie attended Monifieth High School from 1987 to 1993. After completing high school, they enrolled in the University of Dundee, where they obtained a BSc degree in Computer Science from 1993 to 1997.
