Alejandra Silva, M.Ed, currently serves as the 8th Grade ELAR Department Lead at Pasadena Independent School District, a position held since August 2018, focusing on analyzing data, identifying student learning gaps, and implementing innovative educational techniques. Previously, Silva was a Secondary Pre-AP Language Arts/Reading Teacher, where culturally responsive and engaging learning experiences were created for students in grades 7-8, along with addressing intervention needs.
