Richard Thornton

Richard Thornton has over a decade of experience in public safety and law enforcement, currently serving as a Police Sergeant and Detective focused on Financial Crimes at the Pasadena (Texas) Police Department since February 2012. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Police Officer, handling various emergency and non-emergency calls for law enforcement assistance. Earlier in Richard's career, experience was gained as a Firefighter/Paramedic at the West University Place Fire Department from October 2009 to January 2012. Richard holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and Related Protective Services from San Jacinto College, which was completed between 2005 and 2010, and attended the University of Houston from 2003 to 2005.
