Director Of English Language Education & Student Services at Pascagoula-Gautier School District

Melissa DeAngelo, Ph.D., serves as the Director of English Language Education & Student Services for the Pascagoula-Gautier School District since July 2009, previously holding positions as Principal and Assistant Director, focusing on developing skilled students for the Mississippi workforce. With extensive teaching experience, including roles as a Lead Teacher at MGCCC and Spanish Instructor at Ocean Springs School District, DeAngelo also worked as a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Instructor in Spanish at Mississippi State University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi, a Specialist of Education, a Master of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literatures, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Biology from Mississippi State University, complemented by an Associate degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
