Kayla Castro

Kayla Castro possesses extensive experience in administrative and support roles, currently serving as the Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer at Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller since September 2018, following a position as a Records Clerk in the Civil Courts Department. Previous roles include Life Enrichment Coordinator at Angels Senior Living and Youth Counselor at Gustavus Adolphus Child and Family Services. Kayla has also worked as a Vocational Instructor and Direct Support Professional at The Resource Center, and as a Dining Room Server at Five Star Senior Living. Education includes a Master of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration, and a Certificate in Homeland Security from St. Petersburg College, along with an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Jamestown Community College. A high school diploma was obtained from East Lake High School.
