Pascua Yaqui Tribe
Yasel Mendoza Patterson is a skilled mental health professional with extensive experience in social work and clinical roles. Currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe since November 2021, Yasel has demonstrated a commitment to mental health services. Previously, Yasel worked as a Master Social Worker since May 2020 and held the position of Clinician at La Frontera Arizona - Empact SPC from June 2020 to July 2021. Additionally, Yasel served as a Security Monitor with Southwest Key Programs from May 2014 to June 2020. Yasel earned a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University between 2017 and 2020.
Pascua Yaqui Tribe
The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is a sovereign government agency which provides health, education, social services, vocational training and housing services to all tribal members. The Pascua Yaqui Tribe gained federal recognition as an Indian tribe on September 18, 1978 and passed its Constitution in 1988.
