Sean Hathaway

Sean (John) Hathaway is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as Financial Advisor and Principal at Hathaway Financial since March 2018, providing strategic investment advice and ad hoc financial planning and analysis services. Concurrently, Sean holds the position of Board Observer at Passion Footwear since January 2020 and previously served as VP of Finance & Accounting at Redwood Materials until June 2024. Sean's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at Netflix from 2012 to 2018 as Treasurer and Head of Finance Operations, where responsibilities spanned global treasury management and finance operations during the company's transformation into a leading streaming service. Prior roles include Senior Director of Finance at Novellus Systems and Senior Manager at KPMG, as well as Audit and Assurance Manager at Ernst & Young in Chile. Sean holds a BS in Spanish and Accounting from the University of Oregon and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as experience studying at Universidad de Sevilla.
