Barry Blatz has an extensive background in technical project leadership and firmware engineering, with a career spanning over two decades in various roles. Currently serving as Technical Project Lead and Senior Firmware Engineer at Pason since February 2002, Barry has been instrumental as the technical lead for the Universal Junction Box project since 2008, managing teams of up to nine individuals. Prior experience includes working as a Systems Analyst at Valmet Automation/Neles Automation/Metso Automation from January 1997 to January 2002, where responsibilities included implementing industrial communication protocols for SCADA systems. Earlier in Barry's career, a position as a Software Developer at Oilfield Technology and Trading Company involved firmware development for pressure logging devices utilizing HART protocol. Barry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, earned between 1987 and 1995, and is also an alumnus of Daysland High School.
