Peter Cosgrave has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Peter is currently working as the Chief Engineer at Paspaley since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Wind Turbine Technician at Nordex Group from October 2021 to January 2022. Peter also has experience as a Mechanical Technician at LotusWorks from May 2021 to September 2021. Peter's earlier experience includes working as a 3rd Engineer Officer at Princess Cruises from October 2018 to May 2021, where they gained extensive knowledge and skills in various engineering systems and operations. Peter started their career as an Engine Cadet at Chevron from August 2015 to September 2016.
Peter Cosgrave received their Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Marine and Plant Engineering from Munster Technological University, which they attended from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Leaving Certificate at Ballincollig Community School from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, Peter has obtained multiple certifications in various areas such as engineering, leadership and management, medical aid aboard ships, firefighting, and cargo operations. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat, and others.
