Michael Strauss has a diverse work background in various industries. Michael started their professional career as a Teacher at Club Med in 1990. Michael then worked at Siemens Information & Communication, where they held roles as a Project Manager from September 1995 to September 1998, and as a Market Analyst from October 1998 to June 2000. Following this, they joined PASS Consulting Group, initially as a Business Center Manager from July 2000 to February 2004. Michael was later promoted to CEO of PASS Consulting Corp. & Head of Business Unit Travel & Logistics from March 2004 onwards. In this role, they oversaw global operations, working primarily in Miami but also frequently traveling to the company's headquarters in Germany. Their responsibilities included managing a multi-GDS tool called XX/1, which provided access to travel content and inventory from various sources through a single Point of Sales (PoS).

Michael Strauss began their education at Oskar-von-Miller Gymnasium Munich from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained their Abitur in Mathematics & Physics. Michael then continued their studies at the Technical University of Munich from 1990 to 1995, earning a Master's Degree in Engineering and Information Technology.
