Gabriel Githiora Wamunyu has a diverse work experience. Gabriel Githiora started their career as a High School Outreach Coordinator for I AM KENYAN in 2012. In the same year, they co-founded the Inaugural South African Ideas Festival and served as its Festival Organizer. In 2013, Gabriel interned at mSurvey, where they designed graphing tools for real-time data using Javascript and handled the company's marketing on social media platforms.

In 2014, Gabriel co-founded Savana Online Mart Ltd and served as its Chief Technical Officer. The following year, they worked as a Business Analyst for Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2016, Gabriel joined Neurotargeting as a Software Development Intern, where they implemented the factory design pattern for secure web access to distributed databases and worked on database synchronization processes.

Currently, Gabriel works at Pass It Down as a Full Stack Engineer. Gabriel Githiora joined the company in 2019 through the Techstars program. Their primary role is to develop the backend infrastructure for efficient scaling and high availability. Additionally, they design the front end to capture the deep and rich histories of clients and partners.
