Jamie Cohen

Jamie Cohen has extensive educational experience spanning over a decade, currently serving as the Assistant Principal for Grades K-8 at Passaic Public Schools since September 2014. Previous roles include Developmental Interventionist with the NJ Early Intervention Program, where responsibilities included screening, evaluating, and developing Individual Family Service Plans for children with developmental delays. Jamie also served as an Advisory Member for the New Jersey Department of Education's Council for Teaching and Learning, focusing on educational improvement strategies. Prior experience also includes a Special Education Teacher at East Orange Board of Education, a Child Protective Specialist Social Worker with the NYC Administration for Children's Services, and various teaching positions. Jamie holds a Master of Science in Elementary, Special, and Early Childhood Education, along with Supervisor and Principal Certificates from Molloy University.
